These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the photo booth services provided by Pixy Shots, LLC, operating as Pixy Shots Photo Booth (“Pixy Shots,” “we,” or “us”). By submitting a booking inquiry, paying a retainer, or signing a service agreement, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
Pixy Shots provides photo booth rental and photography experiences for private and corporate events in Orange County and Los Angeles County, California. Our packages range from $174 to $799 and include a 3-hour standard service period, a trained on-site attendant, and digital delivery of all photos and videos.
Booking Process
A booking is confirmed when we receive your non-refundable deposit and a signed service agreement. Until both are received, your date is not held.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and peak seasons. Popular dates can fill up months in advance.
Payment Terms
- Deposit: due at booking to secure your date. Non-refundable.
- Remaining balance: due in full before the event begins. We will not set up equipment until the balance is cleared.
- Accepted payment methods: cash, card, or other electronic payment methods.

Idle Time & Extra Hours
The following add-on rates apply beyond your booked package hours:
- Idle Time (booth on-site but not operating): $50 per hour. Must be scheduled in advance. Billed in 1-hour increments.
- Extra Hour (booth actively operating): $100 per hour. May be requested day-of, subject to availability.
- Attendant Overtime Fee: $40 per hour when total on-site time (including setup and breakdown) exceeds 8 hours.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth event, the client (the person who booked the service) is responsible for the following:
- Space: provide a dedicated area of at least 10 ft × 10 ft for the photo booth.
- Power: a standard 110V electrical outlet within 25 feet of the booth location.
- Access: parking or unloading access for our crew to transport and set up equipment.
- Location: an indoor location protected from rain, extreme wind, and weather. Outdoor setups require pre-approval and may require a tent or shelter.
If the client cannot meet these requirements on the event day and service cannot be delivered as a result, Pixy Shots is not liable for a refund.
Equipment
All equipment is owned and operated by Pixy Shots. Clients and their guests are expected to treat our equipment with care.
The client is liable for any damage to our equipment caused by guests beyond normal use. Normal wear during service is not the client's responsibility.
Photo Usage License
By using our photo booth, guests grant Pixy Shots a non-exclusive license to capture, store, and use the resulting images for the purpose of delivering the service to the client and, on an anonymized basis, for marketing Pixy Shots on our website and social media channels.
Guests who do not wish their images used for marketing purposes may notify our on-site attendant at any time during the event. Clients may also opt out on behalf of their event — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Limitation of Liability
Pixy Shots' total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services is limited to the total amount you paid for the service in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or emotional distress, to the fullest extent permitted by California law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pixy Shots, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) brought by third parties arising from your event, your guests' actions, or your breach of these Terms.
Force Majeure
Neither party is in breach of these Terms if performance is prevented or delayed by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, acts of government, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule without penalty.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be submitted to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your signed service agreement and any package-specific addenda, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pixy Shots for the service. They supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements.
Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. For services already booked, the Terms in effect at the time of your deposit apply, unless we notify you otherwise.
