Pixy Shots, LLC (“Pixy Shots,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides photo booth services and operates the website at pixyshots.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (1) when someone contacts us, (2) when we provide services at an event, and (3) automatically when someone visits our website.
A) Information you provide when you contact us (inquiries and bookings)
- Name, email address, and phone number (for example, through our contact form, by phone/text, email, or WhatsApp)
- Event details (date, location, event type, and package interest)
B) Information collected during events (guest delivery)
During an event, guests may choose to enter contact information to receive their photos/videos.
- Phone number and/or email address (entered by the guest)
- Photos and videos captured at the event
- Delivery method selected (text, email, QR code)
Guests can also choose QR code delivery where available, which may not require entering a phone number or email address.
For events, the client booking the services is responsible for informing guests that they may enter their contact information to receive photo/video content.
C) Information collected automatically on our website
When you visit our website, we may receive basic technical information such as:
- IP address
- Device and browser type
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Pages viewed and general site usage data
We use this information for basic site functionality, security, and to understand site performance in aggregate.
How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide quotes
- Schedule, coordinate, and deliver the photo booth services you book
- Send booking confirmations, pre-event reminders, and service-related messages
- Deliver event photos/videos via text, email, QR code, and/or an online gallery
- Provide customer support (for example, re-sending a gallery link)
- Maintain business records and comply with tax and legal obligations
- Send marketing and promotional messages about Pixy Shots (see “Marketing Messages” below)
Marketing Messages (Text & Email)
We may use phone numbers and email addresses (including information provided during an event for photo/video delivery) to send service updates and occasional marketing messages about Pixy Shots, such as promotions or booking reminders.
We may use tools such as SimpleTexting to send marketing text messages.
Your choices / Opt-out
- Text messages: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you opt out, you will be automatically removed from our texting list.
- Emails: You can opt out by using an unsubscribe link (if provided) or by emailing pixyshots5@gmail.com with your request.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
Photos & Videos From Your Event
Event photos and videos are delivered through a private online gallery. Password protection may be available upon request depending on the delivery method.
We do not intentionally post event photos/videos publicly in a way that identifies you or your guests without your consent.
Marketing use (opt-out)
We may use a limited selection of event photos/videos for marketing (for example, wide crowd scenes, booth setup, or non-identifying moments). If you prefer that no photos/videos from your event be used for marketing, email us at pixyshots5@gmail.com and we will honor your request.
Who We Share Information With
We share personal information only as needed to operate our business and deliver services.
Service providers
We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us run our business, such as:
- Twilio — used to send text messages containing photo/video links when guests choose text delivery
- LumaBooth — used to capture, manage, and deliver photo booth content (including sending emails/texts and generating galleries/links)
- SimpleTexting — used to send marketing and promotional text messages
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you contact us through WhatsApp, your communications are processed under Meta's privacy policy
These providers process information only to provide services to us (for example, delivering messages and links).
Reviews and listings
We may use platforms such as Google and Yelp for business listings and to receive review notifications. Any information you provide to those platforms is governed by their privacy policies.
Text Message and Email Delivery
If a guest chooses text or email delivery, we use Twilio and/or LumaBooth to send a message containing a link to their photos/videos.
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the guest's mobile plan.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that help the site function properly and support basic performance, analytics, and security. These may be set by us or by our website hosting/provider (such as GoDaddy) to operate the site and understand site traffic in aggregate.
We do not use cookies to sell your personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites (such as Google, Yelp, or social media platforms). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
- Inquiry data (no booking made): retained for up to 12 months, then deleted
- Event records (confirmed bookings): retained for up to 3 years for tax, legal, and business recordkeeping purposes (or longer if required by law)
- Guest phone numbers/emails entered for delivery: retained for up to 90 days for delivery support and re-sends, then deleted or anonymized
If you request deletion, we will delete information unless we need to keep it for legal, tax, or legitimate business purposes.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Right to Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how we use it
- Right to Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (for example, records we are legally required to keep)
- Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
To exercise these rights, email pixyshots5@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Please include enough information for us to verify your request (for example, your name, event date, and the email/phone number used). We will respond within 45 days.
Children's Privacy
Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.
