We want you to have a great experience with Pixy Shots. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel, reschedule, or if something goes wrong on our end.

Deposit & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due before the event. By paying the deposit, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances because it covers the costs we incur to reserve your date: blocking out our calendar, holding equipment, and preparing your event documents.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, the following tiers apply based on how far in advance you cancel:

30 or more days before the event

  • Deposit is forfeited (non-refundable).
  • Any balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded in full.

14 to 29 days before the event

  • Deposit is forfeited.
  • 50% of any balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.

0 to 13 days before the event

  • No refund is issued. The full amount paid is forfeited.

Reschedule / Date Change

We understand that plans change. We offer one free date change when you request it at least 30 days before your original event date, subject to our availability.

  • Reschedule requests made less than 30 days before the event may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
  • Rescheduled events must take place within 12 months of the original event date.
  • If the new date is unavailable, the cancellation policy above applies.

Equipment Failure

We bring professional equipment and trained attendants to every event. In the unlikely event that our equipment fails and we are unable to restore service for a significant portion of your booked time, we will issue a prorated refund for the portion of service not delivered.

Minor interruptions resolved by our attendant within a reasonable time do not qualify for a refund.

Weather & Force Majeure

If your event is significantly disrupted by severe weather, a natural disaster, a declared public emergency, or another force majeure event beyond either party's control, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional charge.

Reschedules under force majeure are subject to availability and must be requested promptly — within 5 days of the original event date.

How to Request a Refund or Reschedule

Please contact us as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule. Email us at pixyshots5@gmail.com with your name, event date, and a brief description of your situation.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days and returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about a charge or service, please contact us first at pixyshots5@gmail.com. We want to resolve issues directly and fairly.

If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled under the laws of the State of California, with venue in Los Angeles County. For claims within the jurisdictional limits, California small claims court is the appropriate venue.
